Gastronomic Experiences

Luxury Culture showcases a series of ‘gastronomic experiences’ from their archives. I’ve selected a few that caught my eye and have added one to the collection. My addition is the Flower Pot Starter and Earl Grey in Mini-Watering Can, as part of the Tour 1 Chef Tasting Menu at Hong Kong’s Mandarin Oriental.

Black Pearl Rotterdam

Titled ‘Project: Black Pearl’, the facade of this 100 year old home in Rotterdam has been entirely reworked by Zecc Architects & Studio Rolf.fr. Smart architecture

Two concepts I recently came across reminded me of each other – both work with nature, especially wind power. The Dubai-based Dynamic Architecture project (where buildings rotate like strands of DNA) and the Tokyo Bay-based Pyramid (where 24 80-story skyscrapers could be suspended within, and people travel inside via the tubes).
